FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is a puzzle room?
Our puzzle rooms are fun, themed games that challenge you to solve a crucial mission. You will work together with your team to complete the mission, encountering challenging puzzles along the way.
Am I locked in the room? What if I cannot get out?
You are never locked in any of our rooms. Instead you enter our rooms prepared to complete a mission. Whether you're attempting to complete a heist or travel back in time to save the world you are not locked in at any point during the game.
How long can I expect to be in the game?
Our games run up to 60 minutes in length. It is possible to complete the mission in less than 60 minutes.
Are the rooms physically demanding?
Many puzzles are hands on, but none of the puzzles require any force, crawling, climbing, jumping or any physical exertion. If you can lift five pounds, you are prepared for anything you might encounter during your mission.
Are your rooms too hard for me?
Our game technology adapts to each group's skill level, providing a fun challenge for every group without getting too frustrating. This allows teams of any skill level to be fully engaged in our missions and to have an enjoyable experience.
How many players can play the game?
The number of players depends on the game. See Choose a Mission for a list of games and group sizes. We recommend very experienced players form groups closer to the minimum, while other groups should feel free to go up to the maximum number of players.
Will I be playing with strangers?
Each booking is private. Your experience will always be with your own group.
What makes you different from a standard escape room?
Our puzzle rooms are different in a number of ways. Our missions contain advanced technological devices and an adaptive clue system the customizes the experience to each group. We focus on developing challenging puzzles without large amounts of scavenger hunting. We have very few traditional locks throughout our rooms and have a number of creative ways to reveal new challenges as the mission progresses.
Can I add players after I have already booked?
Yes, but you may not exceed the maximum capacity of your game. To add a player, call us at 303-534-5477 and let us know how many players you would like to add. You may pay for your additional players when you arrive for your booking.
How many players do I need to reserve a slot?
You need to pay for at least the minimum number of players for the game in order to reserve a slot. You can always add more players at the time of your booking.
Should I drink alcohol before I play?
We discourage drinking alcohol before attending. A drink or two at dinner is fine, but if your group comes intoxicated, our staff may ask you to leave.
How long does a mission last?
A mission takes up to 60 minutes. Quick and effective teams may finish before then.
Can I take pictures in your games?
We do not allow pictures to be taken inside our game rooms. This is so that everyone can enjoy the games without interference and to preserve the integrity of the game for future players. We will take a photo after your game in the photo area, where we have plenty of fun signs, hats, masks, and props.
Oh no, I'm late!
Please let us know as soon as you can if you won't make your slot on time by calling 303-534-5477. We will try our best to make sure you have enough time to play your game, but your game may be shortened so that the next group can start on time.
Can I change my booking?
If you would like to modify your booking, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance. We cannot honor change requests in the 48 hours leading up to your booking. Thank you for your understanding.
Are your games suitable for young children?
There are game components and other equipment in the rooms that may present safety hazards for young children. Our games are not designed for children under the age of 6. If you are bringing a child under the age of 6, we will not count them towards your group number and they will not need a ticket, but you will need to keep them under your supervision throughout the entirety of the game experience. The minimum age is 12 years for playing without adult supervision. Well behaved children under 12 are permitted, but we ask that at least one paying adult is present to play with the group.
Do I need to speak English to play?
There are game elements that are currently only available in English, and we encourage all players to have basic proficiency in English to be able to fully enjoy the experience.
Are your games wheelchair accessible?
Our games are wheelchair accessible. However, parts of our games require mobility, so there must be at least one team member without mobility concerns.
Are your games accessible to the Deaf and/or hard of hearing?
Our games include audio hints, so there must be at least one team member capable of hearing the clues and relaying them to the rest of the team.
Is there parking available?
There is metered parking and multiple parking lots within a 1-2 block radius. When in doubt, head to the parking lots nearer to the creek. They have larger lots with the most available spaces.
What if I have a large group?
You can book two or more missions with starting times as close together as possible, then show up to the earliest mission time. We will do our best to ensure that the groups start their experiences as close together as possible.
